Hypo-RESOLVE at #ADA 2023

It's a wrap: We would like to thank all the Hypo-RESOLVE speakers and participants for presenting our research at the scientific sessions at ADA 2023 in San Diego - we had a great time. In case you weren't able to attend or missed something, we'd like to give you a quick recap of the Hypo-RESOLVE presentations.

Natalie Zaremba, Patrick Divilly and Pratik Choudary (KCL) presented posters on the Hypo-METRICS study.

On Sunday 25 June, Patrick Divilly and Gilberte Martine-Edith gave two exceptional oral presentations in the session “Risk factors and Prevention of Hypoglycaemia in People with Diabetes or after Bariatric Surgery”, which led to great discussions and reflections.

Several other Hypo-RESOLVE members actively participated in the discussions, highlighting the excellence of this session dedicated to hypoglycaemia and the benefits of meeting face-to-face. On Monday 26 June, Rory McCrimmon (UNIVDUN) gave a presentation entitled “Can You Feel (H)IT? High Intensity Training to Improve Hypoglycemia” in the symposium Exercise as Medicine—Physical Activity for Preventing and Managing Diabetes Complications”.

Congratulations to Helen R. Murphy from our Strategic Advisory Board on receiving the Norbert Freinkel Lecture Award for her incredibly inspirational work!

The ADA Scientific Sessions once again proved to be the world's premier diabetes meeting and the Hypo-RESOLVE consortium is proud to have been able to share the Hypo-METRICS data and results with the wider diabetes community.

Looking forward to ADA 2024, the ADA scientifc sessions will be held in Orlando, Florida, USA from 21 – 24 June 2024.
