On 6th May 2021, the Hypo-RESOLVE Managing Board gathered remotely to not only discuss progress achieved over the past months and to plan next steps, but also to start first discussions regarding a project extension the consortium will need to request in order to be able to finalise work towards the project’s objectives, which has been experiencing considerable delays over the past 1 ½ years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, despite persisting lockdowns and restrictions during the past months the partners ensured that wherever possible work continued as foreseen and particularly patient recruitment gained momentum. The project also saw several noteworthy publications since the beginning of 2021. The Annual Meeting originally scheduled to take place from 5th to 7th May 2021 was postponed to 4th to 6th October 2021, hoping that a face-to-face meeting can take place then. Should the COVID-19 situation worsen again, the meeting will be reorganised as a remote conference.
